What a great Easter weekend we had with our family. On Saturday we celebrated my niece's and nephew "Organic-Green" birthday party; Charlotte 8, Benjamin 6 and Caroline 3. We all had a blast in the large jumpee and our favorite face painter (FANCY NANCY) was even there to add some PIZZAZZZ!
We colored eggs with Simone this year and that was a riot! She just loved to pick up all the eggs with her hands and drop into each color cup. Thank goodness the egg dyes are vegetable based and easy to clean. Great fun and looking forward to some egg salad!
On Sunday, after the kids played with their new Easter surprise's (and ate chocolate) we had everyone over to our house for a little brunch and egg hunt. The kids looked adorable and Troy hid all the eggs at different levels for the different ages. My niece Charlotte could hardly wait and scoped out all the great hiding spots immediately (sooo smart). Benjamin was just enjoying the tree swing, while Simone and Caroline hunted through tomato plants and carrots to find their eggs. We were cracking up as Uncle Matt and I watched them as they asked, "where are the eggs" and the eggs were just staring them in the face. Too cute :)
It was a blast to watch the kids with the bubble blower, just laughing and chasing hundreds of bubbles all around the yard. Bubbles and balloons are the greatest things ever invented, hours of smiles and laughs.
Finished out a great day with a long bike ride to see the new park being built in our area and enjoyed homemade GYRO meat pitas, compliments of Uncle Matt, you rock!
