Joining the fun too!

Finally after obtaining a few quite moments to myself, the Zurawski family has decided to join the blogging fun. Thanks Melanie and Jamie for starting such a fun way to keep in touch with family and friends. We are all becoming so very busy that being able to share news with everyone on a monthly basis is perfect.

We just returned from Jonesborough, Tennessee for my sister (Heather's) wedding. It was a fairy-tale wedding (horse-drawn carriage and margarita fountain (yippeee) and the perfect opportunity to see my entire family. My sister looked beautiful and we were so happy for her and her new family. Simone did great as the flower girl with a little help from grandma :)

The kids and I went out a week and a half early to visit and help my sister with the final arrangements. Troy was able to join us the Thursday before the wedding so he was able to spend some quality time too. It was wonderful for Simone to play with her cousins (Taylor (4), Hunter (2) and baby Katie (3-mo) and for everyone to meet the Q-man (Quinnster). We stayed with Grandma and Papa and had a great time catching up and watching all the kids play and act crazy together.

One afternoon we took all the kids to the "Depot" for fire-safety activities and they each built something fun to take home. We also met our "new" family members, Sean (Heather's husband) and his kids, Brittany, Cameron and Tyler; Our family is just growing and growing and Christmas's will be so much fun in the upcoming years.

Simone is now 18 mo's old and Quinn is 3 mo's (15.6lbs) and life is anything less than CRAZY! There is always something to do at Casa de Zurawski with one running around and the other just watching and LEARNING. They are fun to watch together as Simone enjoys giving him drinks, toys or a bounce/launch in his bouncy chair. Quinn doesn't seem to mind and just loves Simone and smiles when she is near or just jibber jabbering throughout the house. Simone is talking up a storm, repeating lots of words and connecting two words together. It is really neat to hear her little voice and watch her connect phrases (like "uh-oh " and "bye bye daddy") with the appropriate situations.

Now that the weather is cooling down (below 100), we are utilizing our ZOO pass often and enjoying the great outdoors. Simone loves the water area and monkey habitat; Quinn is just along for the scenery. :)

Despite a crazy economy, Design Works Gaming has been growing and we are busier than ever. Troy has been working day and night for the past three years, trying to get our name out there and to establish an excellent reputation among the gaming community. We now staff 5 full-time employees and 5 independent contractors and are looking to grow even more in the next 3-6 mo's. Please feel free to visit out website; designworksgaming.com to see and demo all the latest and greatest games we have developed .

More to come as Halloween approaches and my little "octopus" and "sweet pea" trick or treat for the first time.

XOXO
