Halloween and Fall Fun 2008

Fun, fun this year as Simone and Quinn hit the streets for some yummy candy!  Simone was so much fun as she watched the big kids trick or treat and by the third house, she was a pro.  She was the cutest octopus ever, thanks to Aunt Neely, and the Quinnster was along for the ride as our little sweetpea.  We ran into our neighbors, Stephanie, Gary and Sophia (8-mo's) as a "Free Range" chicken.  Too cute!!   We enjoyed some pre trick or treating fun with our best friends Jane (16 mo's) - Mermaid, Vaughn (3 mo's) - Tigger and mama Nelly - as herself :)  All the kids looked adorable and were ready for the big night ahead.

Lots of excitement so far this month as our good friends Melanie and Jon welcomed their little girl, "Mikayla Rebel Dunmar", November 1, 2008.  She is georgeous with mommy's perfect lips and daddy's eyes.  The months ahead are going to be so much fun as we watch our babies grow and play together.  Bring on the bbq's and playdates!

More fun as we visited the Children's Museum with Neely, Jane and Vaughn this week.  Tons of great "hands on" areas for the girls to explore.  Tunnel/soft play area, kitchen/grocery area, arts n crafts, tons of book reading nooks and  everything else a 1-1/2 year old could imagine.  Jane and Simone were totally adorable too as they are BFF's and stuck together the entire time from room to room.  This will become a weekly adventure for us all and a great outing for simone to interact with other kids and explore her imagination.

As the weather is cooling, we are beginning to enjoy more and more outdoor activites.  Fall vegetable garden and flower beds have been planted (with Simone's assistance, of course) and we are venturing out for playtime, walks and neighborhood exploration.

Quinn is becomming more and more grown up by the day and began giggling the other day as I scared him. (see video)  It is the sweetest sound ever!   He is rolling over from time to time and more confident being on his belly watching us all.  Simone is just a riot as each day is something new, whether connecting words, mimicking actions or testing her physical limits by climbing something new.  We are beginning to look at pre-schools for her to attend a few hours a week which will provide interaction, growth and exploration as she is eager to learn.   Will keep everyone posted.
Troy and I are doing good too, just gearing up for the yearly Gaming Expo in Las Vegas this month and the holidays which are right around the corner.  Have also been finding time to spend time with friends and family at dinner or going to a movie.    Must recommend the movie "Zack and Miri" as it was a riot.

Hope everyone's Halloween was great and please forward pictures along.
